What is Greepeace?:


It's An environmental NGO , founded in the year 1971 in Vancouver , Canada.

Campaigns: 

Greenpeace is currently campaigning in the following areas : climate change, toxic , ocean , forests, GM and nuclear 

Values: 


-Personal responsibility and nonviolence

We personally responsible for our actions and call to nonviolence. These principles are inspired by the concept 'of witnessing', Quaker, which argues that personal action must be based on personal responsibility. Therefore, we are responsible for our actions, and every Greenpeace activist known to always act nonviolent direct action.

-Independence

We are independent politically and economically. We do not accept money from corporations or governments. Individual donations, along with our partners quotas are the only source of our funding. Our independence gives us the authority we need to campaign and get real change.

-Greenpeace has no friends and no permanent enemies

In exposing threats to the environment and finding solutions we have no permanent allies or adversaries. If a company or government is willing to change, we will work with them to achieve their goals, but if they change their proposals we will also change. What matters is not words, but deeds, and our priority is: the benefit of the environment.

-Promoting solutions

In Greenpeace seek solutions and promote the open and informed about environmental choices of society debate. No work to address environmental problems, we work to eliminate them. So we developed our roadmap to save the oceans through the establishment of marine reserves and we want to promote an energy revolution that points the way forward to upgrade to cleaner energy sources. But not content to point out the problems, we develop, seek and promote concrete actions to achieve a green and peaceful future for all.

Greenpeace is an independent, politically and economically, using nonviolent direct action to draw public attention to global environmental problems and actions needed to have a green and peaceful future solutions.

protect biodiversity in all its forms.
prevent pollution and abuse of the oceans, land, air and fresh water.
end all nuclear threats.
promote peace, global disarmament and non-violence.

Historical Review

Rondalera begins in the year 1967 as a summer workshop, over time it became an educational project that were gradually agregándosele different levels to complete the corresponding steps to basic and specialized education. Currently with 23 promotions of Bachelors graduates.
Its founders were Ana Rosa Angarita, psychologist; Piedad María Hernández, psychologist and Mercedes Angarita, anthropologist and educator, currently continues as a leader and guide of the institution.
Respect for individuality, tolerance, collective action, artistic creation in its various forms and educational and academic research have been conjugated elements have allowed to see over the years how our young graduates participate in building spaces life from different areas, from different places.
Rondalera has been running since its inception in different locations in the city of Caracas until set your current space in San Bernardino, a house full of energy, creativity and where even the voices of all those who have belonged to their ranks are heard .

Purposes and goals of the institution

Institute Education Unit Rondalera ultimately aims to achieve the following purposes:
Strengthen and continue the process of learning and intellectual development that taught from early childhood education to the Diversified Cycle.

Strengthen relations between the Community, education, home and school in the task of coordinating efforts and expertise in training activities of the child.
The use of practical, experimental method as a way of learning that will adjust infant achievements, thus helping the integration and personal and life of their community growth.
Acquiring a new approach oriented scientific training education practice.
Integration of program units of the Ministry of Education with the ecological and cultural issues.
To acquire skills and skill in collecting and building materials research.
To acquire the habit of teamwork and the task of scientific research.
Raising the quality of the educational process, to implement new content to establish continuity in the pedagogical work.

Rondalera is an educational institution whose mission is to implement mechanisms that allow the current conditions of our teaching, are appropriate to the practice of everyday life, using a hands-experimental method as a way of learning that will adjust gradually children's achievements, in order to support the integration of learners in the growth and integration into the life of their community.
